The people also expressed solidarity with the people of Honduras for their courageous fight for democracy clipped and replacement of President Jose Manuel Zelaya in office.
The people took to the streets, members of community councils, fishermen, farmers, students of the educational missions (Robinson, Ribas and Sucre), public officials, informal traders, youth, women, members of the PSUV party and the Communist Party in Venezuela, carrying flags and banners alluding to solidarity with the people of Honduras and shouting slogans, the passage of the massive march was greeted by people who came out to watch.
The Long March started from the Puerto de la Mar, on the streets of Porlamar and La Marina Boulevard Guevara traveled around to the Plaza Bolivar where the act was done with the participation of several speakers, mayors, political leaders, representatives colonies of foreigners living in the state, with fiery speeches expressed their solidarity with the people of Honduras, repudiated the coup and demanded the immediate reinstatement as president of Honduras President Jose Manuel Zelaya.
