PRESS 1 POPULAR RESISTANCE DELFRENTE
A national and international community communicate:
1 - who complained that on the morning of June 28, 2009 has been perpetrated the brutal and inhumane military coup against the legally constituted government of Manuel Zelaya Rosales, President of the Republic of Honduras.
2 - That is not true that President Manuel Zelaya Rosales and his Cabinet have resigned their positions, so infamous argument used by the National Congress to formalize the resignation of President Zelaya and install in place to Roberto Micheletti Bain.
3 - That the people of Honduras and the international community recognize only Manuel Zelaya Rosales and current and only president of the Republic of Honduras.
4 - What we have organized the Popular Resistance Front, national and permanent basis in coordination with all the municipalities, to create an active and peaceful resistance to restore constitutional order and respect for human rights.
5 - That the coup have created a climate of insecurity, threat, capture and terror, which puts poor Honduran village life and of all men and women who have spoken in favor of a participatory democracy.
6 - That we demand the solidarity of the national and international community to restore constitutional rights and sovereignty of the Honduran people.
7 - We should reject dignity and worth of the siege of rumors and lies that the power groups and the coup attempt to restrain the popular will in favor of democracy.
8 - To call on all people to be vigilant and take all the public spaces peacefully at our disposal, including the area around the Presidential Palace in Tegucigalpa, the symbol of democracy legally constituted.
